Scott Ray was admitted to practice law in Colorado in October of 2003 and the United States Federal Court for the District of Colorado in 2005. He graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a BA in History in 2000 before moving to Denver to attend the University of Denver Law School that same year. Scott Ray has practiced in the areas of water rights, personal injury, construction law, and general civil litigation as well as family law.

Since forming Driskell, Fitz-Gerald & Ray, LLC, Scott Ray has focused his practice in the areas of civil litigation including personal injury, ski accidents, and construction law while expanding his family law practice to include divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities, custody and post-decree modifications. Scott Ray volunteers for 9News, the Denver County Department of Human Services, the University Park Community Council and We the People.

Scott Ray has litigated hundreds of family law cases and resolved most amicably. However, sometimes it is best to zealously advocate a client's interest at trial and allow the court to decide. Mr. Ray has extensive trial experience litigating divorce, child custody, child support, maintenance, restraining orders and all other post decree cases.

Scott Ray's personal injury practice covers all types of personal injury cases including auto accidents, bad faith insurance claims, ski and snowboard accidents, medical malpractice and other personal injury claims resulting from another's negligence.

In addition, to family law and personal injury, Scott Ray also has an active civil litigation practice including construction law and business litigation. Scott Ray has represented all different types of construction professionals in the formation of contracts, disputes, and mechanics liens.
